If it's urgent, please don't wait for us

MyLocalChemist is an online directory — we’re not a clinical service and we can’t help in an emergency. If you or someone else is seriously unwell or at risk, call 999 straight away.

For urgent health advice that isn’t a 999 emergency, call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk — free, day or night. If you’re struggling to cope or need someone to talk to, the Samaritans are there 24/7 on 116 123.

For anything about your own health, medicines or a prescription, your pharmacy or GP is the right place — they can see your records and give proper clinical advice. We can’t, and we’d never ask you to share medical details with us.

What do you need help with?

Almost everything is handled fastest by your local pharmacy — each one answers its own calls and messages. Find yours in the pharmacy finder — you can call, WhatsApp or message it straight from there.

Other enquiries

Feedback or a complaint, a business or data-protection request, or press? These come to the MyLocalChemist team.

This reaches the MyLocalChemist website team — for corporate, press and partnership matters only. We don’t take prescription, appointment or pharmacy enquiries through this form; those are always handled by your local pharmacy. Find your pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I contact a specific pharmacy?

Every pharmacy has its own phone number and messaging. Use the pharmacy finder to look one up, then call, WhatsApp or message it straight from its card.

How do I book a service?

Find the service you need, enter your postcode to see nearby pharmacies, and pick a time that suits you. Some services are walk-in — check the pharmacy listing for details.

Do I need a prescription for your services?

Most clinical services don’t need a referral from your GP. Flu and travel vaccinations and ear wax removal can be accessed directly. For Pharmacy First, our pharmacists can assess and treat common conditions without a GP appointment.

How can my pharmacy join MyLocalChemist?

We’re always glad to hear from community pharmacies. Choose Listing a pharmacy in the form above and tell us a little about your pharmacy — our team will be in touch.

What are your opening hours?

Hours vary by pharmacy. Use the pharmacy finder to check your nearest one. Most pharmacies open Monday to Saturday, with some Sunday hours.
